B. Laurie Ryba

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Laurie Stainton Ryba grew up in the Oak Grove community and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1984. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Mississippi's School of Nursing in 1989 and worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Forrest General Hospital while earning her masters in nursing and completing her family nurse practitioner program at University of Southern Mississippi in 1996.  

Laurie has completed an advanced fellowship in anti-aging, regenerative and functional medicine, a boards certification in anti-aging and a master's degree in metabolic and nutritional medicine and plans to continue her education to always provide you with the highest level of integrative and functional medical care possible.
 
To start her new career, Laurie moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and worked in family practice for five years then moved on to open a satellite clinic for Gulfport OB/GYN where she practiced women’s healthcare for the next 5 years. After traveling with her husband, Tim, who is a Navy dentist, Laurie and her family settled back in the Oak Grove community where she opened her practice, Enhanced Wellness of Oak Grove, in October of 2008.
 
Laurie is the proud daughter and sister of nurses.  She is a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Mississippi Nurses Association, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and a fellow in Anti-Aging, Regenerative & Functional Medicines.
